Yes, we will print or embroider on new items supplied by the customer. We are not responsible for replacement/reimbursement should customer supplied items become damaged in the printing or embroidery process. We will not print or embroider previously worn or otherwise soiled garments. Customer supplied items are subject to a service fee.
We offer a wide variety of apparel and accessories that can be screen printed or embroidered to meet your needs. For a basic T-shirt, we typically print on Port Authority or Gildan brand T-shirts. They are good quality shirts available at reasonable prices. We also get a lot of requests for American Apparel, Alternative Apparel, and organic shirts. These and many more are available. On a normal order, the expected processing time is between 7-10 business days, after artwork approval and goods arrive at our store. Larger orders, multiple locations, and individual personalization may require a longer production time, so please make sure you are placing your order with enough time for processing.
Rush orders need at least a 24-hour notice to be fit into our schedule. If you already have your logo digitized, you can email it to us and avoid the setup fee. However, your logo must be in a DST, OFM or EXP format. Please include a JPEG file along with the digitized file. A Thousand Stitches is not responsible for the embroidery quality of customer supplied digitized files.
cdr, .eps, and .pdf art files are accepted (must be created as vector). All type and strokes must be converted to outlines. .AI & Freehand files must be exported as .eps files. All files should have the graphics and fonts converted to outlines. Placed or linked images are not acceptable.
If you do not have usable artwork, our graphic design department can usually re-create your artwork into the proper format needed for output. There may be a charge. For re-creating your art, the best file format to submit is a 300dpi jpeg. However, we can work with most other file formats for re-drawing.
We can print both youth and adult garments together if the design size is made to fit the smallest item being screen printed. Some customers prefer two sizes of artwork made to reflect the sizing on youth and adult pieces. In those cases, each imprint size is considered a separate order. When printing a small order, one size of design is the most cost effective choice.
If you need your order faster than 7-10 business days, we can usually accommodate this. There are times that our schedule will just not allow rush service. If we are extremely busy and have to move scheduled jobs around to fit your order in, we will charge you a rush fee based on the number of days you require your order.
